Saberi Roy is a writer, poet, political commentator, essayist, psychologist, philosopher, futurist and independent analyst and author of two books, Reflections in Psychology - a book on 30 essays in psychology and Chronicles of Desire - a book of 55 poems. The second part (Reflections in Psychology - Part II, a compilation of 35 essays) is forthcoming. There are plans to complete third and fourth parts by 2012/2013. These essays are also available as free educational resource on the digital archives of University of Iowa.
Saberi's work has been quoted in research papers and included in the curricula. Links to her work have appeared on several news websites, journals and databases. She is also the author of several articles in politics, philosophy, psychology, religion and social issues published in online journals and magazines. She has recently started the 'Psychology Forum' for questions and issues in psychology raised by her readers.
Saberi also endorses many charities and NGOs and some charities she endorses are featured here. A part of the proceeds from all her book sales will be donated to these charities. Saberi urges all individuals and companies to encourage the culture of giving by using charity logos on their webpages.
Saberi has several diplomas and degrees in Psychology (MSC), Philosophy (MA), Consciousness Studies(MS) with quantum physics, and in Cosmology-Scientific Conceptions, Journalism and Information Management. Saberi has been educated in UK, India and Austria. Saberi enjoys golf, tennis, sailing, billiards/pool, classical and world music. Saberi is quite a traveler.
